Use this page to understand how to prepare BetterDiscord themes so they work correctly with the Mica effect and the MicaDiscord app.

Adding transparency
To make a theme compatible with the Mica effect, make sure the theme allows transparent backgrounds. Find the part of the CSS where the main background is defined and replace its value with:
background: transparent;
This is usually required on the main app container, content panels or chat background areas depending on the original theme structure.

Replacing the default theme
To use your custom theme in MicaDiscord, place the CSS file inside the following folder:
%appdata%\MicaDiscordData\themes\
Save the file using a valid name such as:
my-theme.css
Then open MicaDiscord, select your theme in the application and click Apply to refresh it.
